Graduate Workday Consultant (HCM)

Albida is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Workday Consultant to join our growing team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to launch their career in HRIS consulting, focusing on the implementation and optimisation of Workday solutions for our diverse client base.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist senior consultants in the implementation, configuration, and testing of various Workday modules (e.g., HCM, Absence, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Recruiting, Time Tracking).

• Participate in client workshops and requirements gathering sessions, documenting business processes and functional specifications.

• Support data conversion activities, including data mapping, validation, and loading into Workday.

• Develop and execute test scripts to ensure the accuracy and integrity of Workday configurations.

• Provide support for post-implementation activities, including troubleshooting and user training.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of Workday configurations and processes.

• Collaborate effectively with project teams, clients, and Workday partners.

• Continuously learn and stay updated on new Workday features, functionalities, and best practices.

This is a hybrid role with a 3-day office attendance requirement. Successful applicants will be based at our Sandton, Johannesburg office.

Your Skills and Experience

• A university degree, either completed or currently being studied, in a relevant HR, finance, or technology-related subject area.

• A strong interest in technology and the positive impact digital transformation can deliver.

• Enthusiasm to learn, grow, and build a long-term career within technology solutions consulting.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both colleagues and clients.

• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, including identifying issues and developing practical solutions.

• Previous internship experience within a technology-focused organisation is beneficial but not required.
