Tax Consultant

This is a remote position.

Delivering specialised tax advisory expertise, this position provides critical tax consulting services with a primary focus on public sector entities. The role is designed for an experienced, independent consultant capable of delivering robust advisory services to help navigate public sector tax frameworks and compliance standards.

Working on a flexible contract basis of approximately 20 hours per month, this remote position offers autonomy in managing deliverables while applying proven audit firm methodology to public sector client engagements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialised tax consulting services tailored specifically to public sector entities and requirements.
  

• Apply audit firm principles and analytical standards to review, evaluate, and resolve public sector tax matters.
  

• Operate independently as a tax consultant to deliver assigned consulting outcomes within designated timeframes.
  

• Utilise digital tools to prepare documentation, analyse data, and manage consulting communications.
  

Requirements

• Proven experience as an independent tax consultant.
  

• Practical experience working with or consulting for the public sector.
  

• Prior audit firm experience with a direct focus on public sector clients.
  

• Provision of verifiable references from public sector projects.
  

• Availability to commit to approximately 20 hours of work per month.
