Job description

Position Summary

LSEG Fixed Income Data Department is responsible for the collection, analysis, coordinated entry, data quality management and service of the full bond life cycle data operations in Asian Chinese, Japanese and Korean markets. The data are directly reflected in the company's core product (Workspace), which provide detailed data and services for the fixed income departments of financial institutions. The team is full of creativity and vitality, we provide the best stage to display our talents, and we hope to collect better talents.

Role responsibilities

  • Monitoring of sources for Fixed Income Data

  • Manual updates

  • Responsible for data quality, accuracy, timeliness and completeness

  • Dealing with client queries

  • Working efficiently within teams or by yourself, be proactive to identify and resolve problems

Inter-departmental

  • Close collaboration with Content Management to remain aligned with content strategy and priorities

  • Maintain good working relation with Development teams ensuring team’s requirements are handled in a timely fashion

  • Communicate effectively with other LSEG employees in Content and Service teams globally, sharing knowledge always and accepting standard methodologies.

  • Be an ambassador for the team on specific issues when needed and participate in projects as required. Provide constructive and objective feedback and representation.

  • Keep management aware of internal and external issues, both positive and negative and construct an effective reporting system to indicate service levels and highlights.

  • Co-operate positively with other teams to supply to overall enhancement of information quality, processes, knowledge and understanding.

Required skills/experience

  • Full professional language proficiency in English and Mandarin as daily tasks involve reading documents in these languages.

  • Experience in sourcing information

  • Practical knowledge of MS Excel

  • Attention to details

  • Curiosity about Finance

Desireable skills/ experience

  • Knowledge of Fixed Income markets

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics/Finance or Financial Mathematics or equivalent experience

  • SQL skills

This role is on blended work model, with 3 days working on the office and 2 days working remotely. Standard working hours is Monday - Friday, 9AM - 6PM.
