Claims Technician

Job Location: United Kingdom (remote working)

Job Type: Fixed Term

Remuneration: Competitive salary taking into account skills, experience and qualifications

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Subsidence Claims Technician anywhere in the UK.

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Claims Technician to work in our award-winning Subsidence Services Division, managing a portfolio of complex and large subsidence claims on a 12 month fixed-term contract.

You'll be the focal point for clients, guiding them through the claims process from start to finish. This role demands strong organisational skills, resilience, and a customer-focused approach. 

With the benefit of training and colleague support, you'll deliver an exceptional customer experience managing subsidence claims for the customers you help. Most importantly, you`ll be able to put yourself in our customers’ shoes, see the full picture and make decisions based on the facts, treating all claims on their individual merits. 

You'll have the opportunity to develop your expertise in a supportive environment, collaborating with colleagues to deliver exceptional results.

The skills you will have when you apply: 

  • Experience in managing property claims: Previous experience in a claims environment is essential. 

  • Excellent communication skills: You'll speak with and write to policyholders, insurers, contractors, and more. You’ll explain complex details clearly, and negotiate fair settlements for all. 

  • Conscientious and hard working in order to achieve the required results, as well as being flexible and adaptable during times of high volumes 

The skills that will be developed once working: 

  • Comprehensive Training: You'll receive all the Sedgwick-specific training needed to excel in your role. 

  • Professional Development: We are committed to helping you work towards the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters' Cert CILA qualification.
