Workday Financials Consultant

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Workday Financials Engineer with strong expertise in CODA and Workday Accounting Center to support a critical financial systems environment across LATAM. This role will be key in ensuring continuity, stability, and accuracy across accounting operations, while providing backup coverage to reduce operational and delivery risk.

This is a highly specialized opportunity for a professional with deep hands-on experience in Workday Financials, enterprise accounting processes, and financial integrations. In addition to the core focus on CODA and Accounting Center, the role will also support Workday Studio integrations and Workday Extend applications as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a subject matter expert in CODA and Workday Accounting Center and provide backup coverage for core accounting operations and financial processing. Configure and support Accounting Center rules, journal generation and posting logic, ledger balancing, and accounting validations. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to accounting transformations, journal errors and rejects, financial reconciliations, and audit and control requirements. Support integrations feeding Accounting Center from upstream systems and partner closely with Finance, Accounting, and Audit teams during month-end and close activities. Help stabilize and optimize CODA-based accounting processes. Provide support for Workday Studio integrations, including data flow, orchestration, and sequencing issues. Support inbound and outbound integrations using Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, REST, and SOAP APIs. Assist with Workday Extend enhancements and production support for financial use cases.

Required Experience

Strong experience with Workday Financial Management is required, along with deep hands-on expertise in CODA and Workday Accounting Center. The ideal candidate will have proven experience supporting complex, enterprise-scale accounting models, as well as experience integrating external systems into Accounting Center. A solid understanding of financial data flows, controls, reconciliations, and audit requirements is essential, together with experience supporting financial operations in complex and controlled environments. Advanced English communication skills are also required.

Preferred Background

Experience supporting Workday Studio integrations is preferred, along with exposure to Workday Extend. Previous experience working with regional or global finance teams will be valued, as well as availability to work remotely from LATAM.
