Senior .NET Engineer

Ciklum is looking for a Senior .NET Engineer to join our team full-time in India.

About the role:

As a Senior .NET Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.

Responsibilities:

• Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET Core 8/10, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Experience modernizing legacy applications into scalable, cloud-ready services.
• Strong SQL Server/Azure SQL experience, including data modeling and performance optimization.
• Experience working with high-volume, transactional systems; payments/fintech experience preferred.
• Ability to translate existing gateway functionality and business rules into the new Core Gateway architecture.
• Experience with Azure and Azure DevOps (ADO) for development, source control, and CI/CD.

Requirements:

• Substantial familiarity with .NET framework, web services, APIs, and Microsoft Visual Studio
• Expertise in SQL Server, T-SQL, and database design including model-view-controller (MVC)
• Experience creating web APIs and web pages within the ASP.NET framework
• Skill in creating object-relational maps using Entity Framework
• Moderate to senior-level JavaScript and jQuery programming skills in Angular or in a more modern system such as MVC/Razor 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail
• Strong oral and written communication skills
