Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience in account management, sales engineering, technical sales, or customer relationship management.
  • Experience within the software, technology, HVACR, industrial, refrigeration, or related industries is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong customer service orientation and commitment to exceeding customer expectations.
  • Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Excellent organizational, follow-up, and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 70%.
  • Portuguese proficiency is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Account & Distributor Management

  • Manage and support Cargo Solutions and Cooper Atkins customers and distributors across Ecuador, Colombia, Peru, and Brazil.
  • Support the transition of new customers into long-term business relationships, either directly or through distributors.
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with customers and distribution partners.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between Copeland and assigned accounts.

Customer Support & Training

  • Deliver on-site customer and distributor training programs.
  • Support customer education initiatives and product adoption activities.
  • Coordinate with technical support teams to address customer quality and application requirements.
  • Assist customers and distributors with inventory management and planning activities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate internal activities required to support customers and distributors.
  • Facilitate communication among LATAM, U.S., and Asia teams regarding customer requirements and account-specific needs.
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Operations, and Technical Support teams to ensure customer success.

Sales Operations & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate customer records, sales reports, forecasts, and Salesforce data.
  • Manage product sample inventory and forecasting activities with manufacturing facilities in the United States and Asia.
  • Support trade shows, industry events, distributor meetings, and customer visits throughout the region.
  • Develop and execute customer communication initiatives that enhance company visibility and engagement.
