Position Overview:
The Senior Modular Designer is responsible for leading the design and documentation of modular systems including data centers, mechanical enclosures, and custom skid-based solutions. This position plays a critical role in the development of modular components and systems, collaborating closely with engineers, project managers, and production teams to ensure design intent, manufacturing efficiency, and technical accuracy.
This is a high-impact position that requires advanced experience in modular design, sheet metal fabrication, and mechanical integration. The role will support both the conceptual and technical phases of design, with a strong emphasis on standardization, documentation, and quality. This role will primarily support modular projects based in Houston, TX, where CDM’s manufacturing operations are located.
This position offers a clear path to growth, with the opportunity to evolve into roles such as Modular Design Manager or Modular Engineering Lead as CDM expands its modular offerings.
