The opportunity
Our client is looking for a Middle+ Solutions Engineer to translate client requirements into robust integration solutions. In this role, you will combine hands-on API and workflow delivery with pre-sales support, troubleshooting, and close collaboration across Product and Engineering.

Our client is a UAE-based HRTech scale-up transforming workplace operations across HR, Payroll, Finance, and Insurance in the MENA region. It helps employers and employees manage the full workplace lifecycle through a unified platform.
What you will do
- Gather client requirements and translate them into clear technical scopes for system integrations.
- Design, build, and maintain data transformation workflows and API integrations.
- Provide pre-sales technical support through product demonstrations, prototypes, and proof-of-concepts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration and data issues to support successful go-live execution.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to address technical dependencies and communicate client feedback.
What you bring
- At least 3 years of professional experience in a customer-facing technical role, such as Solutions Engineer, Technical Consultant, or Integration Specialist.
- Hands-on experience working with REST APIs.
- Practical experience with workflow automation tools such as n8n, Zapier, or an equivalent platform.
- Familiarity with AI-driven tools, automation workflows, and solution design.
- A solid foundation in system integrations, data structures, and data modeling.
Helpful, but not essential
- Arabic language proficiency.
How the engagement works
Contracting party: You will contract directly with Apricot, which will manage contracting, invoicing/payroll, payments, and administrative support. Day to day, you will work closely with the client team and follow the agreed scope, deliverables, and security requirements.
You are expected to provide your own laptop and basic equipment, maintain reliable connectivity and a secure working environment, and follow required security controls, including two-factor authentication.
Planned check-ins are at month 1 and month 3 to see how the engagement is working and help address issues.
