Why join us?:

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist – Remote to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This fully remote opportunity is ideal for a payroll professional with strong experience managing Australian payroll and a passion for delivering accurate, efficient, and compliant payroll services.

You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of payroll activities while supporting employees and stakeholders across the business.

Responsibilities:
  • Process end-to-end Australian payroll accurately and on time.
  • Maintain employee payroll records and data integrity.
  • Manage payroll-related queries from employees and stakeholders.
  • Process new starters, terminations, salary changes, and leave adjustments.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian payroll legislation, taxation, superannuation, and company policies.
  • Prepare and reconcile payroll reports.
  • Support payroll audits and process improvement initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with HR, Finance, and business stakeholders.
 
What will help you succeed in this role? :
  • Previous experience 2 to 3 years  managing Australian payroll end-to-end.
  • Strong understanding of payroll legislation, PAYG, superannuation, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
  • The ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
  • Experience using payroll and HRIS systems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A willingness to adopt and utilise AI and new technologies.
