Job description

 

Overview 

The Coordinator, Centralized Scheduling exists within Interface’s Field Operations Organization. This position is to source, schedule, and coordinate internal and/or external labor for all installation and service dispatch requests.  This individual will be tasked with working cross functionally with the Project Management team to identify needs for all scheduling requests within their given queue. Additionally, they will work with the Customer Support team to ensure timely scheduling for all service requests and dispatches. They will leverage tools to identify resources and schedule efficiently based on area and resource availability.

The ideal candidate will possess strong collaboration and communication skills, an intermediate level of scheduling experience, and an excellent relationship builder.

The schedule for this role is Monday through Friday 8:00 - 5:00pm CST.

 

Responsibilities 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for our business partners (subcontractors), providing guidance, feedback, and technical guidelines to ensure superior client installation and service experience.

  • Review installation/job statements of work (SOW) to qualify approved business partners from our list of contractors and available installation technicians.

  • Provide detailed installation guides to technicians and business partners.

  • Negotiate and create purchase order numbers to contract assigned labor resources for installations and service.

  • Plan and schedule installation jobs based on project requirements, customer preferences, and resource availability.

  • Coordinate with field technicians and installation teams to allocate resources efficiently, considering skills, availability, and location.

  • Ensure proper material management by shipping parts from assigned warehouse to preferred locations.

  • Post and close projects in a timely manner.

  • Contribute to the improvement of scheduling processes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Base range for this role is $20- $23/hr. Pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to: relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, and other business and organizational needs.
