AcuityMD is a software and data platform that accelerates access to medical technologies. We help MedTech companies understand how their products are used, why customers vary, and identify opportunities for physicians to better serve their patients. Each year, the FDA approves ~6,000 new medical devices. Our solution helps MedTech companies get these products to physicians more effectively so they can improve patient care with the latest technology. We're backed by Benchmark, Redpoint, ICONIQ Growth, and Ajax Health. We're a high-growth AI and Data company scaling rapidly.
The Principal Medtech Architect is a senior role in AcuityMD's Forward Deployed team and owns our most strategic AI engagements. You will lead AI build partnerships with our largest customers across the full engagement lifecycle, from pre-sales discovery and executive workshops through solution delivery, outcome validation, and transition to the account team for adoption and value realization.
You will partner with account teams and customer leaders to identify where AI can create meaningful business value, translate high-priority workflows into scoped solutions, and guide the delivery of durable, scalable builds. This role requires equal strength in executive advisory, commercial judgment, solution architecture, and hands-on delivery leadership.
Success means turning a customer's unique workflows and pain points into AI solutions that achieve measurable outcomes and scale across the organization. The Forward Deployed team builds custom AI solutions on top of AcuityAI to maximize customer outcomes. We turn customer AI ambition into measurable, durable value by identifying the workflows where AI can create meaningful impact and delivering the solutions that bring those workflows to life.

The Company: We are builders, who are inspired by our mission to expand patient access to cutting-edge medical technologies. We value working collaboratively to solve hard problems for our customers with simple, innovative solutions. We push ourselves to learn with empathy. We foster an active culture of mentorship and inclusion, and we welcome new team members that share our values.
We're backed by Benchmark, Redpoint Ventures, Ajax Health, ICONIQ Growth and several other leading software and medical device investors. Since Acuity launched in 2020, we've brought on customers ranging from publicly traded Fortune 500 companies to innovative growth-stage companies and regional medical device distributors.
The Product: AcuityMD uses data and software to help teams collaborate around the complex relationships they have with the users of medical technologies: doctors. Our platform empowers medical technology companies to see how their products are used, understand why outcomes vary, and identify opportunities where physicians or sites of care can better serve their patients.
AcuityMD is a remote-first company. We believe the best talent isn't confined to one zip code, so our team works from wherever they do their best work, across the U.S.
We also believe some of our best work happens face-to-face. Critical projects move faster, our products get better, and our community gets stronger when we're in the same room, so we bring the team together throughout the year for company-wide and team on-sites built around that work.
In practice: expect 4-5 in-person opportunities a year through company/team on-sites and in-person collaboration for critical projects. If you're based near our Boston hub, there's no set requirement for how often you come into the office, that's your call, based on what works best for you and your team.
