Job description

Kyowa Kirin is a fast-growing global specialty pharmaceutical company that applies state-of-the-art biotechnologies to discover and deliver novel medicines in four disease areas: bone and mineral; intractable hematologic; hematology oncology; and rare disease.  A Japan-based company, our goal is to make people smile by delivering breakthroughs where no adequate treatments currently exist, working from drug discovery to product development and commercialization. In North America, we are headquartered in Princeton, NJ, with offices in California, Massachusetts, and Ontario.

Summary of Job:

The Reimbursement Specialist will be an integral role of the Patient Support Program. The Reimbursement Specialist will work closely with Case Managers to facilitate the patient onboarding process.  

Essential Functions:

  • Works closely with Case Managers to assist with the patient onboarding process.
  • Successfully deliver upon program goals, including predefined KPIs
  • Complete the data entry process of all documents received into the Support Program
  • Triage documents to appropriate parties based on defined business rules and requirements
  • Support the Case Manager team with daily administrative tasks
  • Follows all requirements associated with compliance to
  • program guidelines and relevant regulations, including HIPAA and patient privacy
  • Participates in regularly scheduled team meetings
  • Assist with special projects as needed

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred

Experience:

  • Proven success in a fast-paced environment
  • Patient-focused

Compensation & Benefits

The anticipated hourly rate for this position will be $31.25 to $45.20 per hour. The actual hourly rate offered for this role at commencement of employment may vary based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, education (including applicable licenses and certifications), job-based knowledge, location, and other business and organizational needs.
