Collaborating with a skilled QA team, you'll help deliver essential components enabling secure business operations. Supporting engineering and product teams, you'll influence Akamai's Core platform capabilities. Using agile methodologies and Java, TypeScript, or Python, you'll create outstanding testing frameworks.

As a Senior II Software Development Engineer in Test , you will be responsible for:

• Developing automation code in Java or TypeScript to build test frameworks, improve functionality and automate testing infrastructures
• Overseeing the scope of release changes and owning the responsibility of E2E testing
• Introducing innovation from the marketplace, contributing to the broader community, and aiming for advancements in artificial intelligence innovation.
• Being a collaborative and proactive member of the teams in Krakow, US and other global teams

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have experience developing code in TypeScript, Java or Python
• Have experience in Automation Testing, Playwright or Cypress, Web API Testing, and familiarity with TestNG and/or JUnit frameworks
• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the internet, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, HTML, and SSL protocols
• Demonstrate working knowledge of integration, end-to-end testing as well as regression testing
