Job Description:

WideOrbit is looking for a talented and savvy Director of Product Management, focusing on maximizing talent and expanding the capabilities of our groundbreaking linear platforms to enable automation through APIs and AI technology and cross-platform sales solutions. These initiatives continue to evolve at breakneck speed and ad tech is one of the hottest areas in tech today. Automation and cross-platform sales & execution are the highest-profile initiatives within the company with an opportunity to make a direct impact and see the products grow.

A successful Director of Product Management will have a proven track record of leading strong product teams, managing a product from conceptual design to launch, possessing exceptional communication skills, is highly organized and can build solid professional relationships with internal / external teams and clients. Here is what success will look like:

  • Define and execute the strategy for automation through APIs and AI technologies and cross-platform sales and execution while leading a team of Product Managers.

  • Define and own the product vision and strategy for transformation of our linear platforms, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry trends.

  • Develop product roadmaps, balancing market opportunities, customer needs, and technical feasibility.

  • Act as a thought leader in the evolution of linear platforms, representing the company in industry discussions, client meetings, and conferences.

  • Build, mentor, and lead a team of Product Managers, fostering a culture of collaboration, ownership, and innovation.

  • Set clear objectives, performance metrics, and development plans for team members.

  • Foster cross-functional alignment by working closely with Engineering, QA, Sales, Customer Success, Professional Services, and Marketing to ensure product success.

  • Oversee and guide the design, development, and launch of new features and API-based integrations

  • Prioritize product initiatives, balancing short-term impact with long-term growth.

  • Ensure Agile best practices are followed, leading backlog refinement, sprint planning, and release management.

  • Partner with UX and Engineering teams to create seamless, intuitive user experiences.

  • Develop deep relationships with media companies to understand their evolving needs and pain points.

  • Actively engage with clients and industry leaders to drive product adoption and identify areas for expansion.

  • Analyze market trends and the competitive landscape to ensure differentiation and innovation.

  • Present product strategies and updates to executive leadership and key stakeholders.

  • Work closely with Sales & Marketing to develop go-to-market strategies, messaging, and product positioning.

  • Ensure seamless coordination between product, engineering, QA, and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions at scale.

To thrive in this role, we're looking for:

  • 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

  • Deep expertise in linear sales and traffic, and insights into API integration and industry transformation

  • Experience managing and mentoring Product Managers, fostering career growth and development.

  • Proven ability to define and execute product strategy, aligning with business goals.

  • Strong analytical mindset, using data and KPIs to inform product decisions.

  • Experience working in an Agile development process, collaborating with engineering and design teams.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to executives, customers, and cross-functional teams.

  • Experience in digital ad sales and cross-platform media workflows is a plus.

Location:

This position can be based in any of our offices. Remote/Telecommute will also be considered.

Pay Range:

$160,000 - $200,000 + Annual Variable Bonus

Compensation:

The compensation range listed, and a general description of other compensation and benefits will apply to this position.  Various factors are considered to determine compensation ranges including market data, location, experience, qualifications, and skills. WideOrbit reserves the right to pay more or less than the salary and benefit information posted.
