RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversees the work of the Patient Advocate Team that is responsible for making outbound calls to patients, caregivers and health care professionals

  • provide high quality financial assistance to patients of the Company.  

  • Responsible for assisting the Revenue Manager with day to day management of Patient Advocates including scheduling, annual evaluations, counseling, interviewing candidates, approval of time cards,

  • hiring and discipline of employees.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: AA, BA or BS preferred.  

  • Previous Experience: At least 6 years of experience in pharmacy or in a related area preferred.  

  • Core Capabilities: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills -

  • Must have knowledge and understanding of community pharmacy clerical and pharmacy technician responsibilities -

  • Ability to work autonomously -

  • Ability to multi-task with good organizational skills -

  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations -

  • Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy

  • Certifications/Licenses: Active Pharmacy Technician license required and Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB) in state of employment preferred.  

  • Travel: Some out of town travel may be required  

  • Standard Work Days/Hours: Generally, the work days and hours follow the Company’s standard work week; however, the employee may need to work additional days/hours as necessary to complete their assigned responsibilities.
