Salesforce Developer / Engineer
About the opportunity
We are recruiting on behalf of a large and growing organisation based in Dubai that is
currently building out its Salesforce platform with the support of an implementation partner.
As the organisation moves beyond the initial implementation, we are looking for an
experienced Salesforce Developer / Engineer to join the business and take ownership of
the ongoing development of its Salesforce platform.
This is a hands-on role with significant scope to build new functionality, integrations and
Agentforce solutions, while helping shape the longer-term Salesforce roadmap and reducing
reliance on external consultants.
Key responsibilities
● Develop and maintain Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web
Components (LWC), SOQL, Flow and Salesforce APIs.
● Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and build bespoke
functionality to support sales and operational processes.
● Design, build and maintain API integrations between Salesforce and systems such
as property portals and third-party data providers.
● Build dashboards and reporting covering leads, conversion, agent performance,
pipeline, revenue and marketing attribution.
● Develop custom functionality including a referral engine, customer journeys,
automated sales workflows and approval processes.
● Help shape the organisation’s Agentforce / AI strategy through developing AI
agents.
● Review, improve and maintain solutions developed by the implementation partner.
● Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure the platform remains reliable, secure and
scalable.
● Help shape the Salesforce technical roadmap and architecture, advising the business
on what should be built in Salesforce versus other systems.
● Establish good development, documentation and release management practices as
the organisation builds its internal Salesforce capability.
What we're looking for
● Strong experience as a Salesforce Developer / Engineer.
● Strong knowledge of Salesforce development and architecture.
● Hands-on experience with Apex, LWC, SOQL, Flow and Salesforce APIs.
● Experience building and managing API integrations.
● Strong understanding of Salesforce data models, security and permissions.
● Experience turning business requirements into technical solutions.
● Ability to work independently and take ownership of a technical roadmap.
● Strong communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-
technical stakeholders.
Desirable
● Salesforce Platform Developer I / II certification.
● Sales & Marketing Cloud experience.
● Experience with Agentforce or LLM integrations.
● Experience with MuleSoft or other integration platforms.
● Experience in real estate or another complex sales environment.
The person
We are looking for someone who is hands-on and able to take ownership rather than simply
work from a list of development tickets.
You should be comfortable understanding a business problem, challenging the requirement
where appropriate, designing the solution and then building it.
Given the commercially sensitive customer, sales and financial information held within the
Salesforce platform, confidentiality, discretion and strong data security practices are
essential.
