Title: Data Analyst
Job Type: W2 Contract
Location: Remote- 8am-5pm EST working hours
Lead discovery sessions with engineering and functional SMEs to understand business problems, users, controls, and desired outcomes.
Document current-state and future-state processes, requirements, scope, assumptions, dependencies, and acceptance criteria.
Identify manual effort, data-quality issues, process risk, and opportunities for standardization and automation.
Translate business needs into practical solution concepts, user stories, process maps, data requirements, and implementation plans.
Define success measures such as time saved, adoption, data quality, compliance, safety, risk reduction, or cost avoidance.
Develop business cases and recommendations that balance user value, maintainability, governance, and delivery effort.
Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and translate business requirements into process maps, business models, and technical requirements.
Define product vision, roadmap, priorities, and success metrics.
Prioritize features and enhancements based on business value, user needs, risk, and delivery feasibility.
Ensure alignment between digital solutions, engineering strategy, enterprise architecture, and operational outcomes.
Conduct business analysis across Engineering sites, business partners, and affiliates.
Facilitate complex, cross-functional process-mapping, prioritization, and improvement sessions.
Digital Solutions & Project Delivery
Design and prototype dashboards, automations, integrations, and AI-assisted solutions that address validated business needs.
Develop and maintain Power BI reports, data models, Power Query transformations, DAX measures, and user-focused visualizations.
Use Power Automate, SharePoint, Smartsheet, APIs, and related integration tools to automate workflows, synchronize files, and improve data accessibility.
Apply practical AI and document-intelligence patterns, including retrieval, extraction, classification, summarization, and human-in-the-loop review.
Work with SQL, Python, Databricks, and other data-engineering tools to clean, reconcile, transform, and prepare data for analysis and automation.
Lead or support multiple concurrent projects from discovery through prototype, customer validation, deployment, documentation, and continuous improvement.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Engage: Meet engineers and business users to understand pain points, manual work, data gaps, and improvement opportunities.
Prioritize: Assess opportunities based on business value, effort, feasibility, and speed to impact.
Build: Develop rapid digital solutionsβdashboards, workflow automation, low-code apps, analytics, or AI-enabled tools.
Test & Deploy: Work with users to test solutions, gather feedback, iterate quickly, and move successful prototypes into use.
Drive Adoption & Value: Support users, track usage and benefits, document outcomes, and identify opportunities to scale or reuse solutions.
Basic Qualification:
Bachelor degree OR Associate degree and 4 years of experience OR High school diploma / GED and 6 years of experience
