Job description

About the Role

This is a high-ownership, high-autonomy role at an early-stage fintech startup building a modern treasury platform for US finance teams. As a Forward Deployed Product Manager – Finance, you'll own the full client lifecycle — from deployment through expansion — for some of the company's largest clients. You'll be the trusted point of contact for founders and CFOs, solving real problems in cash management, yield, and FX, while channeling what you learn directly back into the product roadmap. You'll be among the first on-the-ground US hires, with an outsized opportunity to shape how the business scales in this market.

This role is on-site in New York City and is best suited for someone who thrives in ambiguity, is energized by client ownership, and brings genuine fluency in finance concepts.

What You'll Do

  • Run end-to-end deployment and onboarding for large new clients: account setup, funds migration, integrations, training, and go-live.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for ongoing clients, owning relationships through regular check-ins, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and proactive outreach.

  • Coordinate cross-functionally with product, engineering, compliance, and banking partners to remove blockers and keep deployments on schedule.

  • Help clients work through mechanical and technical issues during implementation, speaking fluently to finance teams about cash, yield, and FX workflows.

  • Identify and drive expansion opportunities — additional entities, new products, larger balances — growing wallet share across your client portfolio.

  • Translate client feedback into clear, prioritized product signals and champion client needs internally.

  • Build and refine the onboarding playbook so every deployment is faster and smoother than the last.

  • Deepen client usage across yield, FX, and cash management to ensure clients derive maximum value from the platform.

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • 2–6 years of experience in finance or a client-facing analytical environment (banking, asset management, treasury, corporate finance, consulting, or fintech).

  • Genuine fluency in cash management, yield optimization, and FX concepts — and the ability to apply them to real client treasury workflows.

  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder deployments end-to-end, including account setup, integrations, and cross-functional coordination.

  • Experience owning client relationships through the full lifecycle: onboarding, ongoing account management, QBRs, and expansion.

  • Ability to translate between technical/product teams and finance stakeholders; comfortable explaining concepts clearly to founders and CFOs alike.

  • Experience identifying and driving wallet expansion or upsell opportunities within existing accounts.

  • Experience building or deploying AI agents to automate workflows (professional or personal context).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; high ownership mentality and comfort operating with autonomy.

Nice to Have:

  • Track record of owning a client, revenue, or retention goal with measurable outcomes.

  • Exposure to B2B SaaS environments, particularly in deployment or customer success roles.

  • Experience with banking integrations, fund migration processes, or compliance workflows in financial services.

Please note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $140,000 – $180,000 per year

  • Early-stage equity opportunity as one of the first US hires

  • High-impact, high-visibility role with a direct line to company leadership

Location

This role is based on-site in New York City, NY. In-person presence is an important part of how the team operates, and candidates should be comfortable working from the NYC office regularly.
