  • Experience with NSX, cloud security, and secure configuration management.
  • Proficiency in cyber-attack response, threat detection, and risk-based controls.
  • Leadership and mentoring abilities.
  • Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills.

  • Design and implement secure network architectures, including cloud hosting, operating system hardening, and integration of security tooling.
  • Develop and maintain firewall/IPS rules, test new security products, and review application/system security controls.
  • Create network diagrams, flowcharts, and documentation for all security products and procedures.
  • Collaborate with network systems teams to remediate infected systems and support secure network operations.
  • Lead and mentor technical teams, providing oversight of budget, contract milestones, and SLA compliance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve security alerts, manage customer expectations, and deliver executive-level reporting.
  • Develop training modules and materials for new and existing security personnel.
  • Coordinate with sales, pre-sales, and product teams to deliver solutions, integrate clients into managed services, and evaluate cybersecurity solution performance.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for clients, validating Statements of Work and ensuring service delivery against contracts.
  • Manage and monitor customer security devices remotely.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve storage and network configuration issues in collaboration with vSphere administrators.
  • Use SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, ArcSight) for monitoring, analysis, and reporting.
  • Apply cyber-attack defense techniques and threat detection to protect enterprise environments.

Desired skills and experience:

  • 10 to 15 years in network and security managed-services operations
  • Strong operational competencies across monitoring and observability, automation, incident and change management, and cost management.
  • Proven experience operating networking environments supporting production, mission-critical workloads.
  • Strong understanding of AWS, Azure, & GCP networking and connectivity models.
  • Excellent communication and customer service management skills, including the ability to run service reviews with customer leadership.
  • Experience integrating AI into service offerings, building or leveraging AI/ML platforms to resolve tickets, surface optimization opportunities, and drive AIOps, is a major plus.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
