Job description

JOIN OUR TEAM

As a Last Mile Co-Ordinator, you will keep our day-to-day delivery operations running seamlessly while rebuilding our last mile logistics around regional ownership. Working closely with your regional Lead, you are the person who watches the network, catches delivery anomalies early, and holds carrier partners accountable to what they promised across all parcel, bulky, and handling flows. You are detail-driven, relentlessly curious about process automation, and ready to learn every facet of e-commerce delivery from the ground up. This position is permanent and based in the United Kingdom.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Run daily exception management across parcel, bulky, 2-man, and 4-man delivery flows, proactively chasing carriers and resolving stalled shipments before they impact the customer
  • Track and consolidate regional carrier performance data to maintain accurate scorecards, identify recurring failure patterns, and flag risks early
  • Support carrier administration by auditing freight invoices against agreed rate cards, managing damage claims to closure, and maintaining core system master data
  • Partner directly with Customer Care to resolve complex, escalated delivery cases with fast, clear, and actionable updates
  • Leverage daily AI agents and automations to streamline repetitive operational tasks, report generation, exception triage, and claim drafting
  • Participate in field touchpoints - including depot visits and delivery ride-alongs - to gain first-hand operational insights and continuously refine last mile processes

YOU COME WITH

  • 3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, e-commerce operations, or customer service - or a strong internship/working student background
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple open operational items concurrently
  • Confidence working with data in Excel or Google Sheets, comfortable navigating dashboards, and eager to learn SQL
  • Curiosity for AI tools and process automation, with a drive to apply smart workflows to daily operations
  • Calm, clear, and professional communication skills when managing external carrier partners and internal stakeholders
  • Fluency in English
