Senior UI Designer - Visual & Interaction Design - Robusta - Remote

About the Role

We’re looking for a passionate and creative Senior UI Designer to join Robusta, a leading digital agency that crafts human-centered digital experiences. In this role, you will focus on creating high-quality, visually compelling, and intuitive digital interfaces across web and mobile platforms. You’ll work closely with UX, product, and development teams to translate concepts and user needs into polished, engaging, and scalable digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Create visually compelling and intuitive UI designs for web and mobile platforms.
• Translate UX concepts, user flows, and requirements into high-fidelity interfaces.
• Develop and maintain scalable UI components and design systems.
• Apply strong knowledge of visual hierarchy, typography, color, layout, spacing, and interaction design.
• Create interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts and interactions.
• Ensure consistency across digital products while following brand guidelines and accessibility standards.
• Collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, developers, and stakeholders.
• Work with developers to ensure accurate design implementation and pixel-perfect handoff.
• Stay up to date with modern UI, visual, interaction, and digital design trends.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to improving design quality and processes.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of professional experience in UI design, visual design, or digital product design.
• Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality UI work across web and mobile platforms.
• Strong expertise in visual design, including typography, color, layout, spacing, visual hierarchy, and composition.
• Solid understanding of interaction design and the ability to create intuitive and engaging digital experiences.
• Proficiency in Figma and other UI/prototyping tools such as Framer, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
• Strong experience designing and maintaining design systems, reusable UI components, and visual guidelines.
• Experience creating responsive designs across web and mobile platforms.
• Strong understanding of accessibility and UI design best practices.
• Ability to translate UX requirements, user flows, and concepts into polished, high-fidelity UI designs.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on visual consistency and pixel-perfect execution.
• Experience collaborating closely with UX designers, product managers, developers, and stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills and excellent English proficiency.
• Experience working with developers to ensure accurate design handoff and implementation.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies such as HTML/CSS/React is a plus.
• Experience working in digital products, fintech, or digital agency environments is an advantage.
