Job Summary
Southern New Hampshire is seeking a student employee to fill the role of Website Assistant for our partner organization Global Citizens Circle. This position will support the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Global Citizens Circle (GCC) website by updating content, ensuring a consistent user experience, and collaborating with staff to meet organizational communication needs. This role offers hands-on experience in website management, problem-solving, and digital communications while working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with GCC staff to identify website content updates and communication needs.
  • Update and maintain website pages to ensure information is accurate, current, and accessible.
  • Ensure consistency in webpage design, formatting, and overall user experience.
  • Troubleshoot website issues and research solutions to resolve technical challenges.
  • Complete assigned website updates independently while managing priorities.
  • Participate in weekly GCC staff meetings and monthly Communications Committee meetings.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current enrollment in classes as part of a SNHU degree program
  • Work study part of financial aid package
  • Students with work study may be prioritized
  • Experience working with Wix website platform or similar drag-and-drop platform
  • Attention to detail
  • Creative and graphic design oriented
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff and volunteers as well as independently
  • Ability to complete assigned work on time and ask questions when needed

Work Schedule

  • Variable depending on student's schedule, but hours would be on weekdays between 10a-4p

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this position is $13.00 - $15.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
