The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Senior Machine Support Specialist to join our ANZ Customer Support Operations team and help deliver world-class performance and uptime to our dealer network and customers.

This is an office-based position, located in our Head Office in Crestmead, Queensland. Candidates based across Australia’s eastern states are encouraged to apply. Domestic travel is required, with some international travel as needed.

As a Senior Machine Support Specialist, you’ll diagnose complex issues, support product performance and help shape improvements that influence future machine design.

You will:

• Work with dealers and partner with factories to resolve complex technical issues.
• Identifies problems and research solutions, authors and enters documentation on complex technical issues and solutions into database.
• Communicates issues to the appropriate area for resolution: design engineering, product support, authoring, and/or manufacturing.
• Acts as Unit DTAC lead providing technical support and workflow direction to other Machine Support Specialists
• May travel to the field to collect failure data to assist factories in problem resolution.
• Coach dealers in use of Service Center and CCMS to promote self-sufficiency.
• Deliver technical training to internal teams & dealers.

About you

You’re someone who thrives on solving problems, working with advanced machinery and technology. You are a self-starter who can work autonomously and independently in challenging environments.  

Skills & Experience

• Strong technical skills, with the ability to diagnose complex mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues.
• Strong problem-solving skills, including identifying issues, understanding root causes and finding practical solutions.
• Ability to read schematics and understand how equipment operates and is diagnosed.
• Experience with CAN-bus, Ethernet systems and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with agricultural equipment, farming operations or precision agriculture technology is highly regarded.
• Experience in agricultural or heavy equipment service operations is also highly regarded.

Education / Background

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Technology, or related fields – or equivalent hands‑on experience.
