Job description

About the Role

We're a small, fast-moving team building an AI-native pricing platform that helps B2B SaaS companies transform pricing from a static exercise into a continuously improving, data-driven system. Our platform spans the full pricing lifecycle — from willingness-to-pay analysis and packaging design through to deal execution and sales coaching.

As a Pricing Architect, you'll be a cornerstone of our customer-facing practice. You'll own pricing engagements end-to-end — from initial discovery through to live pricing models and ongoing optimisation — acting as a trusted advisor to commercial and executive stakeholders. You'll also work closely with our product and engineering teams, using the platform daily and feeding back sharp, specific insights that shape our AI recommendations and product roadmap.

This is a high-ownership, high-impact role at an early-stage company. You'll help build the playbook that scales.

What You'll Do

  • Own end-to-end pricing engagements — from discovery and alignment workshops through to live pricing model delivery and post-go-live optimisation.

  • Design segmentation, packaging, price metrics, discounting structures, and monetisation logic tailored to each customer's business.

  • Lead market research and run workshops with customers independently, influencing stakeholders up to C-level.

  • Act as a trusted pricing advisor, setting expectations, aligning on value, and proving commercial impact.

  • Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts and convert them into upsells.

  • Use the AI pricing platform daily to solve real customer problems and give continuous, specific product feedback to improve AI recommendations.

  • Partner with product and engineering to sharpen the pricing engine and tooling.

  • Support rollout and change management, including onboarding sales teams to improve execution quality.

  • Document learnings and help build a repeatable, scalable Pricing Architect methodology.

  • Participate in sales pitches and help advance deals by identifying and qualifying prospects.

What We're Looking For

Must-haves:

  • 5–7+ years in pricing, commercial strategy, or revenue management — with a background in Tier-1 strategy consulting and/or pricing/monetisation roles in tech or SaaS.

  • Deep expertise in pricing fundamentals: segmentation, packaging, price metrics, discounting, and willingness-to-pay methodologies.

  • Proven track record of leading end-to-end pricing engagements from concept to live model, with full ownership of multiple engagements.

  • Hands-on use of GenAI/LLM tools in day-to-day pricing work today — you're already integrating these into your workflow.

  • Proficiency with data analysis using spreadsheets and SQL to support and validate pricing decisions.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to influence C-level and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Professional fluency in English.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience coaching or mentoring others in pricing or related commercial functions.

  • Demonstrated comfort thriving in fast-paced, high-ambiguity startup environments.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $180,000–$220,000 per year

  • Meaningful equity through an ESOP

  • Market-competitive benefits package

  • Visa sponsorship: Not available
