Job Summary

Summary
Responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations and maintenance of site facilities, ensuring a safe, efficient, and compliant environment. Assists in overseeing maintenance staff, coordinating repairs, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and facility guidelines.

Essential Functions
-Supports the management of facility operations, including maintenance, repairs, and safety compliance.

-Assists in coordinating the activities of maintenance staff and contractors for timely completion of tasks.

-Monitors facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and safety equipment, for proper functioning.

-Maintains records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

-Collaborates with hospital departments to address facility-related needs and resolve issues.

-Participates in facility inspections and audits to ensure a safe and functional environment.

-Assists in budgeting and procurement of supplies and services for facility operations.

-Supports the implementation of energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.

Experience
Experience in facilities management or maintenance 2-3 years required and Experience in a healthcare setting 1-2 years preferred

- Proficient knowledge of facility management principles, including maintenance and operations of building systems.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills to oversee multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with staff and contractors.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to hospital operations.
- Proficiency in budget management and financial reporting related to facilities operations.
- Problem-solving skills to address facility issues promptly and effectively.
