We are looking for a technically-oriented colleague who will take responsibility for ensuring the functionality and further development of our production lines. This position is also suitable for graduates of technical universities who are eager to learn new technologies, are interested in automation, and want to see the results of their work directly in production.

Your role and responsibilities


The work model for the role is: onsite


This role is contributing to the ELDS Division in Brno, Vídeňská.


You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Ensuring smooth operation of production lines in the winding area and related automated processes
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical problems of production equipment in collaboration with production and maintenance teams
  • Analyzing root causes of failures and proposing technical measures for their elimination
  • Providing technological support for winding machines and optimizing winding processes
  • Progressively taking responsibility for ABB robotic workstations
  • Supporting PLC system diagnostics (Rockwell, Siemens) and collaborating on their modifications
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation, troubleshooting manuals, and know-how for production lines
  • Proposing technical improvements to increase reliability, quality, and productivity
  • Communicating with technology suppliers in English

Technologies you will work with

  • Nine-fold linear semi-automatic winder
  • Toroidal winding machines
  • Three-fold fully automatic winder
  • Automated production lines controlled by Rockwell and Siemens PLC systems
  • ABB robots including workstations with linear track systems
  • Robotic soldering technologies
  • Automated lines for vacuum and pressure casting
  • Production processes integrated into SAP

Qualifications for the role

  • University degree in a technical field (ideally mechanical engineering or mechatronics)
  • Technical mindset and interest in how machines and production equipment function
  • Basic understanding of PLC systems and programming principles
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and develop in automation and robotics
  • Active approach, independence, and eagerness to come up with own ideas
  • Ability to communicate in English and Czech
