We are responsible for the end-to-end digital and physical Guest experience for all technology & digital-led initiatives across the Attractions & Entertainment, Food & Beverage, Resorts & Transportation and Merchandise lines of business as well as other initiatives including MyDisneyExperience and Hey, Disney!

This role sits in the Architecture, Cloud, & Entitlements organization within Technology & Digital for Disney Experiences. It works closely with many technical teams from across the company. 

About The Role & Team:

  • The Solutions Engineering team builds and operates the enterprise DevSecOps platforms that power software delivery, while enabling teams to adopt standardized, secure, and automated practices. We bridge platform engineering and real-world operations—driving reliability, accelerating releases, and ensuring consistent, compliant delivery across all applications.

What You’ll Do:

  • May lead small projects encompassing analysis, design, programming, debugging, and modification of software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, cloud-based, or Internet-related computer programs
  • Responsible for performing testing and debugging of applications
  • Code may be used in commercial and end-user applications or focus on software and tools supporting infrastructure and technology platforms
  • Code at the component level
  • Work typically involves large or highly sophisticated software programs and systems
  • Possess a proven understanding of current programming language and technologies, with strong skills in writing code and completing programming tasks
  • Interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications
  • Conceive, design, develop, test, and implement software components, fixes, improvements, and/or new systems and applications
  • Design and develop highly scalable software systems and applications
  • You will be expected to stay up to date with emerging technologies and leverage AI tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, etc.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have a minimum 5 years of related work experience
  • Comfortable working in an agile environment
  • Must have expertise in Python, Go, Bash, and a general understanding of object-oriented programming
  • Must have proficiency in CICD systems, such as Harness and Jenkins, with a proactive demeanor towards continuous learning and skill development, and an interest in mastering emerging engineering tools and methodologies
  • Excellent problem solving/debugging skills
  • Must have familiarity with agentic coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Github Copilot

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Proficiency in mobile application development and debugging, including iOS and Android.
  • Harness platform experience
  • Experience working with MacOS and/or Linux operating systems
  • Experience using Node.js/Vue.js

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's or foreign equivalent Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience

#DISNEYTECH

The hiring range for this position in Orlando is $135,200.00-$160,000.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
