The Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our forward-thinking team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in developing, managing, and optimizing our cloud infrastructure and deployment processes. This role demands a strategic approach to improving CI/CD processes, cloud management, and application deployment, along with maintaining high standards of logging, monitoring, and security practices.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and manage robust cloud infrastructure using IaC practices with Terraform/Terragrunt on AWS/OCI platforms.
• Architect and enhance CI/CD pipelines utilizing Bash and Jenkins scripting, alongside tools like Nexus, Docker, GitHub, and Helm for streamlined automation and efficiency.
• Configure and oversee Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability.
• Lead the advancement of our logging, monitoring, alerting, and tracing stacks using technologies such as Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, Thanos, ElasticSearch, and Jaeger.
• Facilitate application release activities, ensuring seamless deployment processes.
• Curate and refine DevOps documentation, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices within the team.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 yearsʼ experience in a DevOps role, with a proven track record of success.
• Expertise in Linux administration and Kubernetes (including Docker) ecosystems.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS services (e.g., EC2, LB, VPC, RDS) and familiarity with Grafana stack components.
• Proficiency in Jenkins pipeline scripting (Groovy), and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform/Terragrunt.
• Experience in deploying and managing NodeJs / Java stack applications, with a strong understanding of web servers (Nginx, HAproxy).
• Fluent in English

Desirable Skills

• Advanced skills in Bash scripting and Helm are highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes cluster security and network troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience with additional cloud platforms (Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud) will be considered a plus.
• Familiarity with Sonatype Nexus, KeyCloak IDM, Kafka, Elastic search, and HashiCorp Vault would distinguish candidates.
