Job Title: Foodservice Regional Sales Manager – Central

 

Location: Remote (Texas or Central)



Job Summary:

The Foodservice Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and driving the foodservice sales strategy within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector. This role involves driving new customer acquisition, developing and implementing sales strategies, and achieving revenue and growth targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in foodservice sales, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the CPG industry.



Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive growth in the foodservice sector.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to expand the company’s presence in the foodservice industry.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry partners.
  • Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Market Analysis:

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and growth opportunities.
  • Stay informed about industry developments, emerging trends, and best practices in foodservice sales.

Revenue and Profitability Management:

  • Drive revenue growth and profitability by achieving sales targets and managing expenses.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track sales performance and identify areas for improvement.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and supply chain teams to align sales strategies with business objectives.
  • Provide input on product innovation, pricing strategies, and promotional activities based on market feedback and customer insights.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for senior management.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of sales activities, customer interactions, and market intelligence.





Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in foodservice sales within the CPG industry, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel as required.
