SAS Analyst (Popayán)

The SAS Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the programming deployment of our data collection is error-free. SAS is the tool used to cleanse, test multiple cases, and verify that all programming requirements are met. The person will assist in ensuring all codes are accurate before going live with data collection. 

Responsibilities and Duties

• Learn and develop a thorough understanding of the market research processes and tools used in conducting the research from a technical standpoint.

• Translate the logic involved in a project into SAS code in a timely fashion. 

• Generate test data and ensure its validity using SAS in accordance with the project specifications. 

• Test, identify, and resolve all the issues in the projects that can affect the collection of valid data on a day-to-day basis. 

• Maintain the written SAS codes and the respective project documentation. 

• Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

• Qualified to degree level or equivalent, preferably in a numerate discipline. 

• Understanding of basic statistics. 

• Should have PC skills, knowledge of statistical software packages (particularly SAS), good organizational skills, good communication skills (oral and written), good analytical skills, and attention to detail.

• Proficient using SAS.
  
• Excellent oral and writing skills (English/Spanish).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including advanced Excel skills. 

• Ability to handle multiple projects, perform well under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

• Monday – Friday (12:00 PM - 8:00 PM EST) and potentially some Saturdays.
