Job description

Growth Leads is an online lead generation company operating in competitive verticals such as iGaming, Financials, Health, and Communications. Data drives our decisions and enables us to optimize performance across all acquisition channels.

About the role

We are seeking a Head of Data & BI to lead and grow our data function. The ideal candidate has a genuine data engineering background who has progressed into leadership, ideally within iGaming, affiliate/performance marketing, or a comparable high-volume, multi-source data environment. You will own our data platform end to end, lead a small team of data engineers and data analysts, and translate complex data into insights that drive business growth.

What you'll do

  • Own and evolve our data platform architecture: pipelines, warehouse modeling, and orchestration, built on AWS with ClickHouse as our core analytical database.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable data pipelines using Apache Airflow for orchestration and dbt for transformations.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency of metric definitions, and accurate reporting across all marketing channels.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team combining data engineers and data analysts, prioritizing work according to business needs and resolving technical trade-offs directly.
  • Set and manage the data/BI roadmap, balancing immediate business needs with long-term platform scalability.
  • Conduct and support advanced performance analysis across traffic sources, funnels, cohorts, lifetime value, and profitability to guide strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with Monetization, Product, and Finance to improve tracking, data collection, and reporting accuracy.
  • Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights and present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Foster a data-driven culture across the organization through knowledge sharing and technical leadership.

What we're looking for

  • 8+ years of experience in data roles, combining hands-on data engineering with analytics/BI.
  • Hands-on experience building or re-architecting a BI/data platform, not only maintaining an existing one.
  • Already managing a mixed team, with data engineers and data analysts reporting directly. You're comfortable prioritizing work and resolving technical disagreements, not just delegating them.
  • Proficiency in a BI and visualization tool such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Experience in iGaming, affiliate/performance marketing, or a comparable high-volume, multi-source data environment (ad-tech, e-commerce, Web3/gaming) is a strong preference, not a strict requirement.
  • A track record defining KPIs, attribution models, and maintaining high data quality standards.
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build a data-driven culture and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.

What we offer

  • Be part of a global performance marketing team that values innovation, autonomy, and measurable results
  • Fully remote role with flexible hours and a collaborative, data-driven culture
  • Work alongside experienced marketers and data professionals who thrive on experimentation and continuous learning
  • Opportunity to lead BI strategies that directly impact growth, traffic, and revenue across multiple markets
  • Play a pivotal role in shaping the data infrastructure and analytics culture for a fast-growing, high-performance organization.
