Mission

Write the content that defines the industry.  Berry Law is seeking an exceptional licensed attorney to serve as our Senior Legal Content Creator—a trusted legal writer, strategist, and editor responsible for shaping the firm's thought leadership across every major communication channel.  This is not a traditional legal marketing position, nor is it a practicing attorney role.  We are looking for someone who can transform complex legal issues into authoritative, compelling content that educates Veterans, builds trust, strengthens Berry Law's national reputation, and creates meaningful business impact.  You'll become the firm's editorial authority—someone trusted to write with the precision, judgment, and sophistication expected of an experienced attorney while maintaining Berry Law's voice, ethical standards, and commitment to excellence.  If you're the type of attorney who enjoys writing, teaching, researching, and influencing far more than litigation or managing a caseload, this may be the ideal opportunity.

What You'll Do

Lead Berry Law's Editorial Strategy

• Conduct original legal research and develop authoritative studies, reports, and white papers.
• Write thought leadership articles that establish Berry Law as a national authority in Veterans Disability and Personal Injury law.
• Develop editorial calendars aligned with firm priorities, legislative developments, and strategic initiatives.

Own High-Value Content Creation

• Draft long-form website content, practice area pages, legal guides, and educational resources.
• Write executive thought leadership pieces, opinion articles, and media-ready content.
• Draft persuasive copy that allows Berry Law to capitalize quickly on breaking news and emerging media opportunities.
• Provide ongoing website news updates and timely legal commentary.

Drive Multimedia Storytelling

• Develop podcast content plans, episode outlines, and interview preparation materials.
• Write video scripts, storyboards, and production briefs for educational and brand campaigns.
• Collaborate with the Producer to ensure every piece of content tells a compelling story.

Elevate Every Communication

• Develop messaging for social media campaigns, email initiatives, public relations, and executive communications.
• Review and edit content to ensure legal accuracy, editorial excellence, and brand consistency.
• Serve as the firm's final editorial resource for complex legal content.

Protect Berry Law's Reputation

• Ensure every published piece reflects Berry Law's brand standards, legal ethics, and commitment to serving Veterans.
• Maintain exceptional attention to detail while simplifying complex legal concepts for everyday readers.
• Create content that earns trust, not clicks.

What We're Looking For

Required

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• Exceptional legal writing and editing abilities
• Demonstrated ability to write clearly for professional and consumer audiences
• Outstanding research, organization, and editorial judgment
• Ability to translate sophisticated legal concepts into compelling, reader-friendly content
• Deep attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Preferred

• Experience in Veterans Disability, Personal Injury, or litigation
• Experience developing thought leadership or educational legal content
• Familiarity with SEO, content strategy, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and AI-assisted research
• Experience working with Veteran or military communities
• Background collaborating with marketing, media, or communications teams
