Outpatient Medical Coder | WFH

Position Details:

• Work Arrangement: Dayshift, Work From Home after 3 months of onsite training
• Role Overview: As an Outpatient Medical Coder, you will be responsible for reviewing and coding medical records for outpatient encounters, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and policies. This role plays a critical part in accurate coding for insurance billing, reimbursement, and patient care services.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in medical coding (Outpatient, Multispecialty, SDS, ED Facility, Revenue Integrity, Observation, and Acute Coding)
• Experience/knowledge in Infusion, Hydration, and Injection Coding
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Familiarity with payer-specific rules, LCD/NCD guidelines, and HIPAA compliance
• Proficiency with EHR systems and coding tools
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
