Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Remote Assistant Chief NWQL to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to the Chief NWQL in managing the operations of our company's Northwest Quality Lab (NWQL) department. This is a full-time, remote position based in Santa Fe Springs, CA.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Chief NWQL in overseeing the daily operations of the NWQL department, including managing staff, resources, and projects

- Collaborate with the Chief NWQL in developing and implementing strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the NWQL department

- Ensure that all projects are completed within the specified timeline and budget

- Conduct regular performance evaluations of staff and provide feedback and coaching as needed

- Monitor and maintain quality control standards to ensure accurate and reliable results

- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders

- Provide technical support and guidance to staff on laboratory procedures and methods

- Stay updated on industry developments and recommend changes to improve processes and procedures

- Assist in the development and implementation of training programs for staff

- Prepare and present reports on the performance of the NWQL department to senior management

- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as safety and regulatory guidelines

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role in a laboratory setting

- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, methods, and equipment

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills

- Ability to work independently and remotely, while also collaborating effectively with a team

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software

- Experience with quality control and assurance processes

- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for laboratory operations

- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
