Job Summary
Health Services of North Texas, Inc. is seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Remote Human Resources Assistant to support day‑to‑day HR operations for our mission‑driven healthcare organization. In this role, you will assist with recruiting, onboarding, employee records, and HR communications, helping ensure a smooth and professional experience for staff across multiple locations. Working closely with the HR team, you will handle confidential information, coordinate routine HR tasks, and provide responsive support to employees—all from the comfort of your home. Key Responsibilities
Support the hiring process by posting jobs, screening applications, scheduling interviews, and coordinating communication with candidates.
Assist with onboarding activities, including sending offer letters and new hire paperwork, tracking required documents, and helping set up orientation schedules.
Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date electronic employee records, ensuring all documentation is organized and handled with confidentiality.
Help track employee data such as attendance, training completion, and performance review dates in HR systems or spreadsheets.
Respond to routine HR inquiries from employees and candidates, escalating complex issues to senior HR staff as needed.
Assist with preparing HR correspondence, forms, and standard communications (emails, letters, reminders, etc.).
Support HR initiatives such as trainings, policy rollouts, employee engagement activities, and compliance tracking.
Ensure all work follows company policies and applicable regulations, including confidentiality and data privacy expectations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Previous experience in human resources, administration, or office support is preferred but not required for motivated, fast learners.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and a professional, courteous manner when interacting with employees and candidates.
Solid organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy when handling documents and data.
Comfortable working with computers, using email, calendars, and basic office software (such as Word, Excel, and online forms).
Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and follow established procedures in a remote environment.
Discretion and respect for confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information.
