Clinical Consultant - Behavioral Health (Contract) - Atlanta, GA

Engagement: Independent contractor, 1099 hourly. Rate range: $75-250/hr based on tier and experience. Location: Remote with state focus (NC, SC, GA, TN, FL). Reports to: HR Advisory Division Lead.

About The Wilkinson Firm

TWF is a workforce strategy and staffing firm. We launched in April 2025 and are now in Year 2 of operations. Our HR Advisory practice serves behavioral health, mental health, and human services providers across the Southeast - CMHCs, FQHCs, IDD agencies, MSOs, and state BH authorities. We are building the clinical advisor bench that gives our HR Advisory engagements the clinical depth generalist HR firms cannot match.

Who we want

Licensed clinicians (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, LCMHC, LCMHCS, PsyD, PhD Clinical Psych, MD-Psychiatry, APRN-PMH, or equivalent) who have served in clinical leadership at CMHCs, FQHCs, IDD agencies, hospital BH service lines, or MSOs. You understand both clinical workflow and operational P&L. You want flexible, project-based engagement that pays for your expertise.

What you would do

• Apply clinical lens to HR Advisory engagements touching BH/mental health providers
• Review workforce models, retention strategies, supervision frameworks against clinical reality
• Co-author thought leadership and white papers under your name
• Open clinical relationships that become TWF enterprise accounts (referral fee applies)
• Participate in client discovery calls when clinical credentialing matters

Engagement structure (two tiers)

Tier A (general clinical consultants): $0 retained. $75-125/hr when engaged. 5-10% referral fee on first-year revenue from sourced clients.

Tier B (named expert seats - top 2-3 per state): $0 retained. $150-250/hr when engaged. 10% referral fee. Public credit on firm website. Optional small phantom equity grant (0.05-0.15%). Long-term founding-team consideration possible.

What you keep

• Non-exclusive arrangement. Keep your other consulting, your practice, your hospital role.
• 30-day cancel from either party. No long-term lockup.
• NDA per engagement only. No blanket NDA.
