Software Developer - VB.NET (Remote, US)

This role is remote, US.

Expectations

• US citizen or Green Card Holder
• 3+ years of experience in software development with VB.NET (Visual Basic .NET)
• C#, Microsoft SQL
• GIT or TFS
• Basic Front End knowledge
• Bachelor's degree - or - Associate's degree with 6-8 years of supporting experience

Additional Requirements

• HTML5, CSS, JSON, XML, JavaScript, JQuery, and Bootstrap
  
• Working knowledge of object-oriented design, software best practices, coding principles, and design patterns
• Should be comfortable working on projects in a collaborative team environment as well as working with minimal supervision
• Must be self-motivated, a creative problem solver who works well with others at all levels, has a demonstrated passion for coding, and derives a great sense of satisfaction producing well-crafted, clean, lean, easy-to-use software
• Good written and communication skills

Job Description

Your primary role is to implement, test, and support new solutions and modify existing legacy applications written in-house. You will be responsible for writing code in multiple languages, writing automated tests, and manually testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing new and legacy applications.
