Job description

Head of Growth/ Media Buying

Company: IncubatorLab

Location: Remote - Worldwide

IncubatorLab is looking for a talented Head of Growth/ Media Buying to join our thriving team!

Role Objective

The Head of Growth is the architect of our scaling engine. You are responsible for the holistic growth strategy of the brands under the IncubatorLab umbrella, with a core focus on our expanding supplement and DTC portfolio. You will sit at the intersection of media buying mastery, multi-channel performance advertising (Meta, Google, Amazon, and Paid Social), creative strategy, and conversion rate optimization (CRO) to ensure we aren't just spending money, but building highly profitable, sustainable brands.

What You’ll Do

  • Growth & Media Strategy: Define and execute end-to-end scaling roadmaps from $0 to 7 and 8 figures across direct-to-consumer and retail/marketplace channels.
  • Capital Allocation & Media Buying: Manage multi-million dollar marketing budgets and determine optimal spend distribution. Hands-on management and high-level steering of bidding strategies, campaign structures, and media buying tactics across Meta, Google/YouTube, Amazon, and Paid Social channels.
  • Supplement Brand Acceleration: Design acquisition and retention engines tailored specifically to supplement and wellness brands—optimizing subscription/rebill funnels, trial offers, Amazon store synergy, and compliant performance messaging.
  • Funnel & LTV Optimization: Oversee the complete customer journey from ad click to landing page conversion, offer structuring (bundles, subscriptions, upsells), and post-purchase retention loops to maximize LTV and shorten CAC payback periods.
  • Leadership: Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of Media Buyers, Creative Strategists, Search/Amazon Specialists, and Video Editors to hit aggressive scale and margin KPIs.
  • Data Synthesis & Attribution: Analyze MER (Marketing Efficiency Ratio), ROAS, blended CAC, and first-party/third-party attribution models (e.g., Triple Whale, Northbeam, KnoCommerce) to execute high-level tactical pivots.

What We Are Looking For

Experience Requirements

  • Big E-Commerce & DTC Track Record: 5+ years of growth marketing experience, including prior leadership at a major e-commerce company or high-growth enterprise brand. Must have personally scaled at least one brand to $10M+ ARR or managed monthly paid ad spends exceeding $500k.
  • Supplement Category Expertise: Deep, proven experience in the health, wellness, or supplement sector. Thorough understanding of ad compliance/regulatory guidelines on Meta and Google, subscription economics (repeat orders, cohort analysis), and consumer psychology in health products.
  • Paid Social & Multi-Channel Mastery: Expert fluency in Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram), Google Search/Shopping/YouTube, Amazon Advertising (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Amazon DSP), and Paid Social platforms (TikTok, Pinterest).
  • Hands-on Media Buying Acumen: Deep understanding of ad platform algorithms, audience targeting, dynamic creative testing (DCT), automated rules, and ad account architecture.
  • Tech Stack & Data Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with Shopify, CRO best practices, third-party attribution platforms (Triple Whale, Northbeam), and post-purchase surveys.
  • Performance Creative Directing: Ability to bridge hard data with creative strategy—giving precise feedback to designers and editors on hooks, direct-response messaging, and high-converting visual angles.

Educational Requirements

  • Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Alternative/Continuous Learning: In lieu of a Master’s degree, specialized certifications or intensive training in Data Science, Behavioral Economics, or advanced Performance Marketing (e.g., Reforge, CXL) are highly valued.

Working Hours: Remote-First & Asynchronous

At IncubatorLab, we prioritize output over hours. However, as a lead, we require a daily overlap of 3–4 hours with the core team (typically between 9 AM and 1 PM EST) for high-level strategy syncs and decision-making.

How to Apply

We are looking for a growth architect, not just a manager. To be considered, please submit your resume and a short "Growth Summary" or portfolio of the brands you have successfully scaled.

We are particularly interested in seeing:

  • Scale Benchmarks: Specifics on how you scaled spend or revenue for e-commerce/supplement brands (e.g., "Scaled a supplement brand from $500k to $2M monthly revenue in 6 months").
  • Full-Funnel & Subscription Thinking: Examples of optimizing beyond ad accounts—including landing pages, trial-to-subscription funnels, and retention loops.
  • Media Buying Learnings: Insights on navigating ad compliance and media buying tactics across Meta, Google, and Amazon in competitive niches.
  • The "North Star": The primary metric you focus on when evaluating brand health and profitability, and why.
