About the Role

Seeking.com is the world's largest premium dating platform, and we are entering the most important chapter of our brand transformation. We are looking for a CRO Specialist to run the day-to-day testing program across paid media, email/lifecycle, landing pages, onboarding, and creative, and turn results into clear, actionable recommendations for channel owners.

This role is open at two levels: CRO Specialist and Sr. CRO Specialist. Level and placement in the salary band are determined by experience, depth in testing platforms and analytics, and demonstrated ownership of end-to-end experiments. The role is the same shape at both levels; the Senior level carries broader scope, more autonomy, and higher expectations on statistical rigor, cross-channel synthesis, and mentorship.

This role may also be a fit for candidates whose current title is Conversion Rate Optimization Specialist, Growth Marketing Specialist, Growth Marketing Manager, Experimentation Specialist, Experimentation Analyst, A/B Testing Specialist, Growth Analyst, Optimization Analyst, Digital Experience Optimization Specialist, or Landing Page Optimization Specialist. If your day-to-day is designing, shipping, and reading tests that move business metrics, you should apply regardless of your current title.

You will build the testing roadmap, ship the variants, read the results, and rewrite the plan by Friday. You will report to the Director of Growth & Lifecycle Marketing and partner closely with Paid Media, Lifecycle/CRM, SEO, Creative, Data & Analytics, Product, and Brand.

We are looking for a hands-on operator who can log into the testing platform in week one, audit what is running, identify what is misdesigned or missing a control, and ship a better-instrumented test by Friday.

What You'll Own

Testing Roadmap, Prioritization & Program Management

  • Own and maintain a rolling testing roadmap and hypothesis backlog across paid media, email/lifecycle, landing pages, onboarding, paywall, and creative.
  • Prioritize tests with a clear framework (ICE, PIE, or a Seeking variant) so the highest-impact, highest-confidence experiments run first.
  • Keep an always-current view of what is being tested, what has been learned, and what is next, and communicate it weekly to the Director and channel owners.
  • Set and hold testing velocity: the right number of concurrent, non-interfering experiments running at all times.

Test Design & Execution

  • Design and launch A/B, multivariate, and (where appropriate) holdout and geo-based experiments with proper control groups, adequate sample sizes, and pre-defined success metrics.
  • Set up and QA tests in the experimentation platform (Optimizely, VWO, Statsig, Convert, AB Tasty, or comparable). You build the tests yourself.
  • Partner with Data & Analytics and Engineering on tracking, event instrumentation, and attribution before every launch. You know the events you need, not just the ones you have.
  • Define primary, secondary, and guardrail metrics for every test in plain, business-relevant terms.

Analysis, Insights & Recommendations

  • Analyze test results using GA4, the testing platform, and warehouse cuts. Know the difference between statistical significance and business significance, and hold the line on both.
  • For every completed test, deliver a structured recommendation by a committed date: ship it, iterate on it, or kill it, with the rationale and the next test queued behind it.
  • Translate winning results into channel-specific action: campaign changes for Paid Media; flow logic for Lifecycle/CRM; landing page and onboarding updates with Product; creative direction for the Creative team.
  • Present findings to cross-functional stakeholders in a clear, non-technical narrative that connects the test to the business.

Cross-Channel Synthesis & Testing Culture

  • Connect the dots across channels. Surface patterns from paid tests that should inform lifecycle messaging (and vice versa), and build shared creative and messaging frameworks derived from what the tests have taught us.
  • Partner with Paid Media, Lifecycle/CRM, SEO, and Content to align on learnings, coordinate overlapping tests, and avoid duplicate or conflicting work.
  • Maintain a simple, searchable results repository so we compound learnings instead of relearning them every quarter.
  • Champion a test-and-learn culture through weekly readouts, workshops, and clear testing standards.

Required Qualifications (Both Levels)

  • Hands-on experience running A/B or multivariate tests in a marketing or growth context (paid, email, landing page, onboarding, or paywall), preferably at a consumer subscription, marketplace, mobile-first, or dating/social platform.
  • In-the-tool fluency with at least one experimentation or A/B testing platform (Optimizely, VWO, Statsig, Convert, AB Tasty, Eppo, LaunchDarkly, or comparable). You set up and QA the tests yourself.
  • Working understanding of experimental design: control/treatment setup, sample sizing, statistical significance, and common validity threats (novelty, seasonality, SRM, interaction effects). You know when to call a test and when to wait.
  • Strong analytical fluency. Comfortable in GA4, testing-platform dashboards, and Excel/Sheets. Able to pull your own reads and pressure-test what the Data team hands you.
  • Ready to run on day one. You can audit an existing testing program, identify what is misdesigned, and ship a better-instrumented experiment in week one.
  • Strong written and verbal communication. You can write a crisp test brief and present nuanced results to a non-technical audience with equal confidence.
  • AI fluency. You already use ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Cowork, or similar in your daily workflow to draft test plans, generate variant copy and creative, analyze results, and replace work you used to do by hand. If someone has to explain to you why AI matters, this role is not for you.
  • Operator's discipline. You ship on time, your QA is tight, your naming is clean, and you document every result.

Level & Experience

CRO Specialist

  • 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in CRO, growth marketing, experimentation, or analytical marketing.
  • Practical track record designing and shipping tests across at least one of: paid media, email/lifecycle, landing pages, or onboarding, with results you can speak to.
  • Owns execution end-to-end across the channels above. Contributes to prioritization and testing-cadence conversations with the Director.

Sr. CRO Specialist

  • 5 to 8+ years of hands-on experience in CRO, experimentation, or growth marketing, ideally including time at a consumer subscription business, DTC brand, or mobile-first product.
  • Proven track record running experiments across two or more channels (paid, lifecycle, landing pages, onboarding, paywall, or in-product marketing), with measurable business impact.
  • Comfortable in SQL or directly in the warehouse to build audiences, validate segments, and pull your own analysis. You do not wait on the Data team to know how a test performed.
  • Owns both execution and strategy. Sets testing standards, drives the roadmap, and can defend a prioritization call to the Director and CMO.
  • Mentors and reviews. Comfortable being the go-to reviewer for test design, tracking hygiene, and results interpretation as the testing function scales.

Preferred Qualifications (Both Levels)

  • Consumer subscription, marketplace, or dating/social platform experience where activation, retention, and LTV are primary growth levers.
  • Familiarity with Bayesian methods, multi-armed bandit, or adaptive experimentation, with a clear view on when to use them.
  • Background in behavioral economics or consumer psychology. Understanding why people behave the way they do makes for sharper hypotheses.
  • Experience contributing to a company-wide experimentation program (governance, tooling, standards, or team training).
  • Experience designing experiments around AI-driven personalization or recommendation systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent track record of shipping rigorous tests.

Compensation

  • Base salary: $80,000 to $125,000, commensurate with experience and level. The lower half of the band anchors the CRO Specialist level; the upper half anchors the Sr. CRO Specialist level.
  • Full-time, exempt, fully remote within the US.
  • Health, dental, vision, 401(k), and a standard benefits package.
  • Direct exposure to the Director, CMO, and Co-CEOs from day one, and a clear growth path as testing scope, channel ownership, and program maturity expand.
