Sedron Technologies is hiring a talented Project Expeditor to work remotely in the US!


Sedron is a leading provider of circular waste management technologies for agricultural manure and municipal biosolids processing, deploying facilities across several North American regions. Since its founding in 2014, Sedron has pioneered innovative solutions, including the patented Varcor® system, to transform waste into clean water, organic fertilizer, and carbon-negative commodities. With strong engineering expertise, Sedron’s processes reduce nutrient pollution, lower operational expenses, and promote sustainability at a fraction of traditional costs. 



The Project Expeditor ensures that materials, information, and project activities move efficiently through Sedron’s operational pipeline. This role acts as a connector between engineering, production, supply chain, and external vendors, removing bottlenecks and keeping project timelines on track. The Expeditor supports Sedron’s mission by driving clarity, alignment, and follow‑through across all project stages.


Because we design, build, commission, and operate our technologies, we are looking for individuals who can meet the following essential functions of the position:

  • Monitor project timelines, identify delays, and escalate issues to keep work moving
  • Monitor supplier and prepare detailed, timely reports to keep project management informed of any potential impacts on schedules or project objectives
  • Track purchase orders, deliveries, and inventory to ensure required materials arrive on time
  • Follow up with suppliers on lead times, backorders, and shipment status
  • Coordinate between engineering, production, and procurement to resolve blockers
  • Maintain accurate records, update project dashboards, and provide status reports
  • Identify risks early and work with teams to implement corrective actions
  • Recommend improvements to expediting processes, communication flow, and tracking systems
  • Takes ownership for project flow, timelines, and follow-through
  • Provides clear, timely updates to stakeholders
  • Coordinates effectively across engineering, production, supply chain, and vendors

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Associate’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered

  • 2-5 years’ experience in supply chain, production, or project coordination. ERP or project tracking experience
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills
  • Adaptability to change with business needs
  • Ability to track multiple moving parts with accuracy
  • Clear, professional communication with internal teams and external vendors
  • Experience with ERP, procurement, or project management systems
  • Problem‑solving mindset with urgency and follow‑through
  • Ability to work in fast‑paced, cross‑functional environments
  • High attention to detail and documentation discipline
  • Minimum requirement for all positions is a high school diploma or GED
  • Must have effective verbal, reading, and written communication skills in the English language

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or supply chain
  • Knowledge of large equipment (examples: boilers, compressors, skid packages)
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies
  • Ability to interpret basic technical drawings or specifications
  • Prior expediting or coordination experience

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Compensation for this role is between $26 - 32 hourly
  • Additional pay may apply for off-shift hours, off-site work, or special assignments
  • This role may qualify for a discretionary bonus, recognizing outstanding contributions to team and company success
  • This role requires approximately 15% travel to support Sedron facilities
  • In compliance with state and local pay transparency laws, the expected compensation for this role is shared above. The range provided is Sedron’s estimate of the base compensation for this role and the final offer will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, and geographic location. Compensation may be adjusted within this range to reflect regional cost-of-living differences in states where Sedron is hiring.
