As a Senior Associate Consultant at CMG, you will contribute across both client engagements and internal firm initiatives, working alongside project teams and within the fabric of client organizations to create measurable impact. This role offers the opportunity to work across industries, solutions, and growth challenges while building a diverse consulting toolkit grounded in strategic thinking, problem-solving, and hands-on execution.

At CMG, we believe breakthrough growth requires more than recommendations. We partner with clients to align strategy, execution, and operational capabilities to deliver measurable business outcomes.

This is an opportunity to make meaningful contributions from day one while growing within a collaborative, high-impact consulting environment. Our role is designed for individuals who want greater responsibility, direct client exposure, ownership of their work, and the opportunity to grow quickly within an entrepreneurial consulting environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality work across client engagements, owning key workstreams and deliverables from development through execution
  • Manage multiple workstreams and client engagements while maintaining strong attention to detail and delivery excellence
  • Develop structured approaches, frameworks, analyses, and recommendations to solve complex business challenges
  • Conduct research and synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights into executive-ready recommendations
  • Build trusted relationships with clients, project teams, and firm leadership across all levels
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies to enhance work quality, efficiency, and innovation
  • Support business development efforts through proposal development, thought leadership, and content creation
  • Contribute to internal initiatives that strengthen firm capabilities, collaboration, and culture
  • Operate with an entrepreneurial mindset, embracing ambiguity, ownership, and continuous learning

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • 2–4 years of consulting or relevant industry experience
  • Strong business acumen, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in fast-paced environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience developing executive-level presentations and deliverables
  • Experience conducting research, analysis, reporting, and dashboard development to identify trends and business insights
  • Familiarity with analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Google Analytics, Power BI, etc.)
  • Exposure to and practical use of AI tools and technologies such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, or similar platforms
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort operating in dynamic and evolving environments
  • Commitment to continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree or relevant certifications (MBA, Master’s, PMP, analytics certifications, etc.)
  • Experience supporting growth strategy, revenue operations, go-to-market, or PE-based value creation initiatives
  • Exposure to product development, technology, AI/ML, or B2B SaaS environments
  • Consulting experience within commercially focused industries, recurring revenue business models, or private equity-backed organizations

Opportunity Details
