About the Role:

Reporting to the Compensation Manager, the Compensation Analyst serves as a key member of the Total Rewards team, supporting the design, analysis, administration, and continuous improvement of OppFi's compensation programs. This role partners closely with People Operations, Finance, Payroll, HR Systems, and business leaders to provide data-driven compensation recommendations, administer annual compensation processes, and ensure compensation programs remain competitive, equitable, and aligned with business objectives.

What You Get to Do:

  • Support the administration, analysis, and continuous improvement of OppFi's compensation programs, including base pay, short-term incentives, commissions, and other variable pay programs.
  • Assist with the annual compensation planning process, including merit increases, bonus planning, system testing, validation, communications, and reporting.
  • Prepare executive and broad-based Compensation Committee materials, analyses, recommendations, and presentation decks.
  • Perform market pricing, job evaluations, internal equity analyses, and salary structure administration.
  • Develop headcount budgets, workforce planning models, and compensation forecasts in partnership with Finance.
  • Create dashboards and executive reporting to communicate compensation trends, workforce metrics, and key insights.
  • Analyze market data and internal compensation information to provide meaningful recommendations while balancing market competitiveness, internal equity, and fiscal responsibility.
  • Support compensation initiatives associated with organizational growth, acquisitions, and evolving business needs.
  • Maintain compensation-related data within UKG, support compensation system configuration and testing for annual planning, and partner with HR Systems to ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy.
  • Build advanced Excel models and recurring reports; develop ad hoc reporting using Cognos/UKG Business Intelligence when applicable.
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, and business leaders to ensure compensation programs are administered accurately, consistently, and in compliance with company policy.

What You'll Bring to the Team:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum five (5) years of progressive experience as a Compensation Analyst or in a corporate compensation role.
  • Experience supporting annual compensation planning processes, including merit increases and incentive/bonus administration.
  • Experience administering and analyzing variable pay programs, including short-term incentives, commission plans, or other performance-based reward structures.
  • Experience preparing executive-level compensation analyses and Compensation Committee materials.
  • Experience with market pricing, job evaluation, salary structures, and internal equity analyses.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, PivotTables, nested formulas, Power Query, and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, dashboard creation, and data visualization skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present complex compensation information clearly.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with UKG Pro and UKG Business Intelligence (Cognos) reporting.
  • Knowledge of long-term incentive (LTI) programs and equity compensation.
  • Experience supporting stock plan administration, including restricted stock, stock options, or employee stock purchase plans (ESPP).
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation, or progress toward certification, is a plus.
  • Experience supporting compensation initiatives during organizational growth, mergers, acquisitions, or business transformation.

In addition to base pay, the total compensation package includes eligibility and potential for performance-based bonuses and equity grants dependent upon the role and job level.

$71,200β€”$106,800 USD
