Position: Application Support Analyst

Location: Remote in PST or MST time zone

FMLA: Exempt, Full-Time

Schedule: M-F 8am-4:30pm


Responsibilities:
· Ensure that the proprietary MS-SQL based enterprise business solution developed by Medlogix is supported to the highest possible standard with maximum levels of attainable productivity and efficiency

· Monitor

o Logs for alerts, errors and aging workflows that require analysis and resolution

o Automated processes including data imports and exports

o User incident reports for prioritization and resolution

· Troubleshoot

o Issues from logs and user incident reports

o Define, develop, and provide application problem analysis and resolution services for complex application problems in conjunction with the users

o Provide suggestions for system and business improvements

· Configure

o Collaborate with PMO and business leads to manage application configuration based on the evolving needs of clients

o Manage new client configurations via interfaces and scripting as required

o Manage existing interfaces and design new application support interfaces

o Import new data sets based on subscriptions with external partners/vendors

· Document

o Workflows and produce process flow diagrams to aid future troubleshooting and development

o Support procedures and knowledgebase to aid future troubleshooting and development


Skills:

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

· Excellent customer service skills

· T-SQL skills

· Office 365 skills including SharePoint and Visio

· Excellent written and spoken English

· Ability to read and understand C#, JavaScript and/or PowerShell preferred

· Understanding of change and release management preferred


Qualifications:

· Ability to solve complex technical problems

· Knowledge of T-SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting

· Ability to collaborate within a team environment and discuss issues and solutions

· Ability to identify data patterns or issues and problem solve with developers

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills


Education & Experience:

· Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in Health Informatics, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field OR equivalent work experience or certifications

· 2+ Years Application Support experience

· Experience analyzing data with SQL

· Experience working with C#, or similar OOP language, JavaScript preferred but not required

· Experience with ticketing systems such as Jira or Service Now preferred
