Job description

Every breach, every failed audit, every new hire stuck in onboarding purgatory traces back to the same question: who has access to what — and should they?

Identity is where modern companies break. Too much access leaks data. Too little grinds the business to a halt. Lumos is the industry's first Autonomous Identity Platform — software that doesn't just surface access risk, but acts on it. We started with a self-service AppStore and grew into the critical infrastructure connecting apps, identities, and data for GitHub, MongoDB, Mars, Pinterest, Anduril, Intercom, Roku, and Netskope. At the center is Albus, our AI agent for identity — mining roles, approving access, and catching the drift humans miss.

You'll ship work that thousands of IT and security teams touch every day. You'll own problems without playbooks, because the category is being redefined in real time — by us.

Why Lumos?

  • 🚀 Jump on a rocketship. Since launching out of stealth in April 2022, we've grown from 20 to ~130 Alchemists and raised over $65M from a16z, Scale, Neo, Greg Brockman (President at OpenAI), and Phil Venables (CISO at Google).

  • Customers love us — and so does the industry. Named a Strong Performer in the 2026 Gartner Voice of the Customer for IGA — 4.7/5, with 96% of reviewers saying they'd recommend us. Our customers cut time-to-access by 98%, slash IT tickets by 72%, and eliminate excess privilege at scale.

  • 🏆 A culture worth joining. Three years running on Forbes' Top 100 Best Startup Employers in America (2024, 2025, 2026) — measured on culture, retention, growth, and job creation. That's our Alchemists, not our marketing. See what we live by here.

As a Project Coordinator on our Professional Services team, you'll be the connective tissue that keeps our PS led customer implementations organized and moving. You'll sit inside the delivery team, supporting the Head of Professional Services, Solution Architects and Customer Success Managers; tracking what's owed, by whom, and by when, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks.

This isn't a role where you sit back and take meeting notes. Lumos customers are enterprise IT and security teams who need to trust their implementation is on track, and this role is often their clearest signal of that. You'll hold both internal teams and customers accountable to their commitments, escalate early when something's at risk, and keep executive buyers and customers informed with clear, accurate status, all while helping the team run a tighter, faster delivery motion.

You'll work closely with the Customer Success Manager, Solution Architect and Head of PS on every account, flagging risk before it becomes a surprise, and you'll increasingly use AI/Claude-powered tools to keep reporting and project plans current without eating into everyone's time.

✨ Your Responsibilities

  • Own the project plan. Maintain project plans, schedules, and status documentation; check for past-due dates and request updates; keep track of every change made to the plan.

  • PS Projects Dashboard upkeep. Our internal tracking looks at weekly high level status tags, summaries, blockers/issues to escalate, and module go live dates, all used in reporting to the Customer team as a whole and to our ELT. You will work with the Head of PS and the CSMs to update and share highlights and risks weekly with the teams.

  • Hold the team accountable. Track deliverables, follow up before things slip — not after — and hold both customers and internal stakeholders accountable for what they've committed to.

  • Run a tight ship on project calls. Build structure for recurring project calls — set the agenda, keep the discussion on topic, and don't let Solution Architects (or anyone else) wander off-track. Coordinate meeting logistics, action items, and follow-ups.

  • Escalate early. Flag risks, blockers, and account changes to the CSM before they surprise the customer relationship. Track blocker-level bugs and sales-committed feature requests tied to product needs.

  • Keep the RACI clean. Define and maintain the project RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed) for each engagement so everyone knows who owns what.

  • Report status, internally and externally. Own weekly project plan updates, deliver a weekly status report to the CSM and leadership, and produce both the internal status report and the client-facing progress summary for every project.

  • Use AI to scale the work. Use AI/Claude skills to help manage recurring reporting and status work so updates stay consistent and timely without eating the team's bandwidth.

  • Track the technical footprint. Compare the apps a customer committed to integrating against what they've actually integrated.

  • Build relationships that make delivery work. Build working relationships with the internal teams supporting each engagement, and follow established project management practices and procedures.

🙌 What We're Looking For

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience. Project manager or project coordinator-level experience is a plus.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. You don't let things fall through the cracks.

  • Comfortable across multiple tools. Project tracking, scheduling, documentation — and experience using AI tools to boost productivity and scale reporting work rather than grinding through it manually.

  • A natural driver of accountability. You follow up before things slip, not after, and you're comfortable holding both customers and internal teams to their commitments.

  • Clear, proactive communicator. You can run a tight, on-topic call and translate project status into something a CSM, an internal team, or a client executive can act on immediately.
