Job description

About Barti:

Barti is a venture-backed startup on a mission to build the future of eye care. We’re building groundbreaking, AI-powered software that transforms how practices document care, run their operations, and serve patients. Our goal is to craft exceptional user experiences that let eye care providers stay focused on delivering high-quality care.

We recently raised our Series A and are growing quickly as hundreds of practices adopt Barti to replace outdated legacy systems. It’s an exciting time to join as we expand into new parts of eye care and continue shaping the future of practice management.

About the Role:

As a Product Manager at Barti, you’ll own core areas of our platform, influencing product strategy, collaborating with engineering and design, and staying deeply connected to the needs of the eye care providers we serve. Reporting to our COO/Co-Founder, you’ll join as the second PM hire, working closely with the team to build out a best-in-class product function. This is a high-impact role with real ownership, clear visibility to leadership, and direct influence over how we scale.

What You'll Do:

  • Shape platform-wide product strategy and map out upcoming feature rollouts alongside the founding PM and COO.

  • Engage firsthand with users to uncover core objectives, collect insights, and pinpoint critical challenges or expansion opportunities.

  • Convert user insights into crisp, comprehensive product specs, user stories, and technical requirements tailored for engineering execution.

  • Collaborate with engineering and design to deploy innovative features that delight our users and drive key business KPIs.

  • Oversee the end-to-end product journey from initial ideation through release, guaranteeing flawless deployment and strong user uptake.

  • Establish, track, and evaluate core product telemetry to evaluate launch impact and guide subsequent strategic iterations.

  • Seamlessly balance diverse parallel initiatives through exceptional organizational habits, rigorous prioritization, and efficient scheduling.

What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in a B2B SaaS or startup environment.

  • Proven track record of shipping successful products and features from concept to launch.

  • Deep customer empathy and a passion for building user-centric solutions.

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to articulate a clear vision and work cross-functionally.

  • Collaborative by nature, clear on ownership boundaries, and confident raising alignment questions early.

  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-moving startup environment.

  • Extremely detail-oriented and meticulous in your approach.

  • Quick to learn new tools and adapt to changing processes.

  • AI-native: you actively use AI tools in your daily workflow and can speak to how they’ve shaped how you work.

Bonus Points If You:

  • Have experience in HealthTech, specifically with EHR, EMR, or practice management software.

  • Have experience working with products for small businesses.

  • Think beyond individual deliverables and bring ideas for how we scale our product org as we grow.

Perks & Benefits

  • Be part of a mission-driven, rapidly scaling company changing the future of eye care

  • Work remotely from anywhere in the U.S.

  • Collaborate with a passionate, fun, and supportive team

  • Competitive salary - $140-160K

  • Equity in a fast-growing startup

  • Health, vision, and dental benefits

  • Unlimited PTO

  • Annual professional development stipend

  • A high-impact role with plenty of room for growth, ownership, and creativity
