Job Summary

Pyyne is seeking a Senior Scrum Master with proven experience guiding and supporting Software Engineering Teams to work as a consultant out of our Brazilian Office. This is a high-impact role for Pyyne as we expand our Scrum practice and deepen our collaboration with one of our largest global clients.

A successful candidate in this role will lead Agile ceremonies and empower cross-functional engineering teams working on very complex, business-critical, initiatives for one of our most important clients. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, drives team performance, and balances structure with flexibility to get things done.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate all core Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming

  • Drive execution using Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban), ensuring consistent delivery and continuous improvement

  • Utilize Agile metrics (velocity, burndown charts, sprint reports) to track progress and support team optimization

  • Partner with product and engineering teams to align execution with strategic goals and quality standards

  • Support QA cycles and contribute to end-of-sprint demos, with a strong emphasis on testing and product quality

  • Proactively identify and remove blockers, ensuring teams have clarity and resources to succeed

  • Coordinate efforts across distributed teams (including iOS, Android, full stack) throughout the full software development lifecycle

  • Maintain clear, consistent communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Leverage project management tools like JIRA (or similar) to manage sprint planning and track delivery

Must Have Skills

  • 5+ years in Scrum Master, Project Management, or related applications development roles

  • Strong Agile expertise (Scrum, Kanban) with proven cross-functional team leadership

  • Experience delivering consumer-facing mobile/web applications

  • Proficient with Agile tools like JIRA (or quick to learn equivalents)

  • Familiar with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to enhance productivity and impact

  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality, process improvement, and outcomes

  • Skilled in navigating team dynamics, resolving conflicts, and building alignment

  • Comfortable owning multiple complex projects independently in fast-paced environments

  • Experience working with distributed teams across time zones

  • Bachelor's degree required
