Responsibilities:

  • Build the product from the ground up — define its visual language, design principles, design system, and key UX flows.

  • Design UX for an AI-powered product — including onboarding, first-generation experiences, long-running asynchronous processes, AI model selection, token-based economics, error states, and web-first checkout.

  • Build a scalable design system for web and mobile, with shared logic, components, variables, themes, states, and responsive behavior.

  • Design production-ready motion — micro-interactions, loading states, transitions, and animations that help users understand what is happening during AI generation.

  • Create implementation-ready animations using Rive (preferred) or Lottie, and collaborate closely with engineers on their integration.

  • Design for real traffic from day one — the MVP will reach live users shortly after launch, so you’ll continuously validate and improve your work based on user behavior and product data.

  • Work closely with engineers to balance UX quality, visual polish, and implementation complexity.

  • Contribute to product growth by designing experiences that improve activation, conversion, monetization, and retention.

  • Contribute to the product’s visual identity through typography, color systems, logo direction, and other foundational brand elements.

  • Collaborate closely with the CEO, product, and engineering teams to turn ambiguous problems into clear, scalable product experiences.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in product design, ideally in B2C products with paid traffic or performance marketing.

  • Strong experience designing both web and mobile products, ideally with a unified design system across platforms.

  • Experience with production-ready motion design, with Rive preferred or Lottie as an alternative.

  • Proven experience building design systems with reusable components, states, variables, themes, and responsive scenarios.

  • Strong product thinking and an understanding of how design impacts activation, conversion, monetization, and retention.

  • Ability to design complex product experiences involving AI models, generation states, usage costs, asynchronous processes, and other non-standard UX patterns.

  • Basic visual identity and branding skills, including logo, typography, and color systems.

  • Strong collaboration skills and experience working closely with engineers, including the ability to balance UX quality with technical constraints.

  • Ukrainian for internal communication.

  • English at B1 level or higher.

Would be a plus:

  • Experience designing generative AI products or interfaces built on top of third-party AI models.

  • Experience launching a new product or major feature from scratch, rather than primarily iterating on an established product.

  • Flutter-first experience or close collaboration with Flutter engineering teams.

  • Experience with web-first products and custom checkout flows outside of the App Store.

  • Experience designing subscriptions, tokens, credits, or other usage-based monetization models.

  • Experience designing performance marketing landing pages and conversion-focused acquisition experiences.

  • Experience working in a startup or pre-PMF environment, where you’re comfortable with ambiguity, fast iteration, and changing priorities.

Employee Benefits:

  • Remote-First Culture: Our team is diverse and extensive, just like our product portfolio. We provide a flexible working schedule and let you work anywhere in the world, either remotely or in one of our corporate hubs.

  • Сoworking Compensation: We provide 100% compensation for coworking spaces in Ukraine (except Kyiv, where we have a cozy, autonomous hub) and 50% compensation for coworking spaces worldwide to ensure everyone has a comfortable and inspiring workspace.

  • Free Office Lunches: We want you to stay fueled and focused, so we provide delicious free lunches for everyone working from our hubs. It’s one less thing for you to worry about during a productive workday.

  • Public Holidays Policy: Gismart observes public holidays based on the Ukrainian or Polish holiday calendars. Employees working in other locations are entitled to 12 public holidays per year.

  • 100% Sick Leave Compensation

  • Mental and Physical Health: To help you stay happy and healthy, Gismart will partially cover your medical insurance, sports activities, and therapy costs.

  • Personal Equipment Policy: Of course, we’ll provide you with all the equipment you need or cover the maintenance cost for your own tools.

  • Personal Learning and Development: We love to see you learn and grow, so Gismart will cover 70% of your professional development courses. We’ll also pay for 100% of corporate English courses.

  • Time-Off Policy: Every employee gets 18 working days of paid vacation and 3 personal days per year, with an extra day added for each year at Gismart.

  • Corporate Events: We are remote-first, but we love meeting up in person. Whenever possible, we organize corporate events and team-building activities across all Gismart hubs.
