With offices across Canada, Pario Engineering & Environmental Sciences LP is a niche forensic engineering, environmental science, and remediation consulting firm that is a leader in providing services to insurance and risk management clients.  

We have an existing opportunity to add an Electrical Engineer/Fire Investigator  to our team! You will work in a hybrid capacity supporting the Dartmouth, NS area.

Job Description

  • Assess, analyze and report on the origin and cause fires.
  • Interview witnesses, service personnel and other local officials.
  • Inspections shall include, but not be limited to, roofs, attics, crawlspaces, partially destroyed buildings, fire damaged buildings, and elevated structures.
  • Able to recognize potential subrogation opportunities.
  • The ability to climb, work at heights, and work at all temperatures is required.
  • The ability to assess the general safety of damaged fire structures is essential.
  • Lead project(s) from start to finish.
  • Provide clear, accurate, and timely reports.
  • Assess, analyze and report on the origin and cause for electrical failures
  • Familiar with CSA, ASTM, NFPA codes and applications for a range of mechanical and electrical equipment.

This is a site-based position. Candidates are required to have their own vehicle and license. We are looking for anyone throughout Atlantic Canada. Our billing centers are Dieppe NB & Dartmouth NS. Office space can be provided but some work from home is required. Requirements to work from our office are based on experience and manager discretion.
