Job description

About Nabis

Nabis is the #1 licensed cannabis wholesale platform in the world, supplying $1B+ worth of cannabis products annually from hundreds of brands to retailers across California, New York, and Nevada. Our mission is to empower the world to discover cannabis by providing choice, access, and innovation.Through modern, scalable infrastructure, our mission is to empower the world to discover cannabis by providing choice, access, and innovation.

We’re at the forefront of this movement, building an innovative, technology-first platform to scale the entire cannabis industry. Backed by Y Combinator and investors, including DoorDash Co-Founder Stanley Tang, NFL Hall of Famer Joe Montana, Gmail creator Paul Buchheit, and Twitch co-founder Justin Kan, Nabis is rapidly expanding across the U.S. with the goal of becoming the largest and most influential cannabis distribution network globally.

Location Eligibility: This role is open to candidates based in the following states: CA, CO, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, KS, MA, MD, ME, MI, MO, NJ, NV, NY, TN, TX, UT, VA, or WA. Applicants residing outside of these states will not be considered at this time.

About the Role

As a Sales Operations Associate at Nabis, you will be part of the team that keeps the operational infrastructure of the Nabis platform running accurately day to day. Sales Ops sits at the centre of the business — every brand that joins, every retailer that activates, and every order that gets placed depends on the data integrity, account setup, and system accuracy that this team maintains.

You will support execution across retail onboarding, licensing and compliance data, pricing and sales rules, feature adoption, invoice accuracy, and cross-functional issue resolution. Reporting to the Sales Operations Manager, you will work closely with Brand Account Managers, Retail Account Managers, and field reps to ensure the operational layer they depend on is accurate, current, and functioning correctly.

Responsibilities

  • Retail Onboarding & Account Setup: Execute onboarding workflows to ensure new retail accounts are accurately created, validated, licensed, and enabled to transact. Complete onboarding — with accurate address book and contact data in place before first order — is what allows the rest of the platform to function correctly from day one.
  • Account Management: Maintain accurate account records and contact information, supporting access setup and system permissions as needed. Data hygiene in this area is what enables the rest of the platform — from targeted promotions to accurate reporting — to function correctly.
  • Pricing & Sales Rules Support: Assist with maintaining pricing accuracy, sales rule configurations, account group assignments, and discount structures under manager guidance. All pricing agreements and bulk discounting should be coded into the Nabis system to drive transparency and Marketplace adoption.
  • Sales Tools & Feature Adoption Support: Support the rollout and day-to-day usage of sales tools and platform features by assisting with setup, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting. Help drive adoption of Marketplace, VMI, BillPay, and other platform tools by supporting training materials, answering questions, and identifying usage issues. Feature adoption is a direct driver of retailer retention and brand growth — this role is instrumental in closing the gap between what the platform offers and what customers are actively using.
  • Nabis Connect & VMI Support: Assist with retailer enrollments in Nabis Connect and VMI auto-ordering, ensuring accounts are correctly configured and ordering thresholds are set accurately. Identify and flag disruptions to automated ordering promptly for resolution.
  • Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve pricing, invoicing, ordering, and system-related issues; escalate complex or recurring issues to the Sales Operations Manager as needed. The goal is fast, clean resolution that keeps brands and retailers operating without disruption — and that surfaces patterns requiring structural fixes.
  • Invoice Accuracy Support: Assist with invoice updates and validations to ensure correct pricing, discounts, and sales rules are reflected across all transactions.
  • CRM & Reporting Support: Support CRM data accuracy by maintaining clean account and activity records in line with team standards. Assist with data validation and reporting updates to help track Sales Ops performance metrics and ensure the field has accurate, current data to work from.
  • Brand Page & Marketplace Management: Maintain and update brand pages and Marketplace listings for full service brands, ensuring product information, imagery, and content are accurate and current. A well-maintained brand presence on the Marketplace directly affects discoverability and order volume — this work requires both attention to detail and a consistent standard of quality across all managed brands.
  • Promotions & Programs Support: Assist with the execution of sales programs and promotions, including configuration support, QA, and tracking.
  • Process Documentation: Maintain and update Sales Ops documentation, SOPs, and operational workflows to support consistency and scalability across the team.
  • Cross-Functional Support: Support the coordination between the field organisation and internal Nabis teams — Finance, Product, CX, and Partnerships — by accurately routing requests and flagging issues that require cross-team resolution.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in operations, business, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in sales operations, operations, sales support, or a similar role; experience in regulated or high-growth environments is a plus.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong spreadsheet and data-entry skills; familiarity with CRM, sales ops, or e-commerce platforms preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong attention to detail and operational discipline
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow structured processes
    • Clear written and verbal communication skills
    • Comfort working cross-functionally and supporting change initiatives
  • Attributes: Reliable, proactive, and solution-oriented team player who is eager to learn, improve processes, and grow within Sales Operations.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Unlimited PTO and paid holidays
  • Salary $55,000 - $60,000
  • Medical/Dental/Vision offered to all full-time employees
  • 401(k) plan with a match.
